Leanne, our Business Manager, is available to discuss financial concerns at any time. She is happy to assist with a range of issues related to finances. Because your issues are individual, our care and attention to you will be individual as well.
Convenient Payments: We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered. For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact our office. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
Insurance Coverage: Few patients in California have coverage for Fertility Treatment. Even many tests are not covered. By working closely with laboratories and vendors in the area, we are able to offer substantial discounts to patients for both testing and treatment. If you do have insurance coverage we will be sure to help you maximize that value. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
Medical Financing: We also work closely with an excellent financing company, specializing in loans for fertility patients. They provide low cost loans for patients undergoing treatment in our office. You only borrow what you need and can pay it back as quickly or slowly as you would like (minimum payments are required however.) For more information, e-mail LReynolds@afamd.com.
Pharmaceutical Company Discount Programs: These programs change frequently and are available to eligible patients who may not otherwise be able to afford fertility medications. If you qualify, the company will offer you discounted medications from participating pharmacies. The eligibility criteria include meeting with an AFAMG provider prior to applying, so please call the office today to schedule an appointment.
Discount Committee: We realize that fertility treatment is costly. We strive to make treatment affordable to all patients. If you have a financial hardship, please don’t hesitate to apply for one of our many discount programs. You can download the application here: Discount application or call the office to have one mailed to you. The committee meets twice a month and offers awards of $500 to $7000 off of an IVF cycle.
